I was talking to a friend the other day who has a product that she produced to help women and girls build self-esteem and self-confidence. She was sharing with me that she introduces the cards to women and they love them, but no one is buying the cards. I asked her if she was asking for the sale and she said no. I’ll bet you that this was the reason that no one was purchasing the cards from her. They didn’t know that they were for sale. If you are selling something people need to know that they can purchase the product. Giving them information about the product and how it works is great, but what happens when they leave you and they don’t take the product with them? Nothing!
I know sometimes it’s very scary to ask for the sale, but you must figure out a way that does not make you completely shut down and forget that you have this amazing product that can help so many people that’s available for purchase. One of the best ways I found was is to be a vendor at events. This way you can put up your banner and sign saying what you must offer and how much it cost. People will stop by your table and ask questions if they are interested. I always make sales when I am vending because it’s less frightening when people are coming to me versus me going to them to ask for sale. Once they come to me and I see that they like my product I will offer the product with a price attached.
If you have been trying to grow your business you must push pass the fear. Whether you are trying to make a sale or land a new client. FEAR is the death of your business if you don’t push past it. I know this may sound easy, but you may find that you need to do a little personal development to help you along. There is a ton of information out there to help you conquer fear. You must find the program that is right for you.
I hope this helps you with making the sale when you next prospect comes to you.
